Government’s Stand on Anti-Naxal Strategy is Unambiguous, Says MP Chief Minister Mohan Yadav

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav reaffirmed the state’s clear and firm policy against Naxalism, highlighting strengthened security operations and parallel development initiatives in affected regions. He urged public cooperation to help secure long-term peace and stability across vulnerable areas.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Thursday underscored that his government maintains a firm and unequivocal stance in its fight against Naxalism, asserting that both security and development measures are being advanced simultaneously to ensure long-term stability in vulnerable regions.

Speaking in Bhopal, Yadav said the state administration is working in close coordination with security forces to strengthen operations aimed at neutralising Naxal influence. He noted that the government is consistently enhancing surveillance, improving on-ground readiness and supporting forces deployed in sensitive zones.

At the same time, the Chief Minister stressed that sustainable peace cannot be achieved through security interventions alone. He highlighted the state’s focus on expanding welfare initiatives, improving infrastructure and delivering essential public services in areas affected by Naxal activity. According to him, these measures are designed to address local socio-economic challenges and weaken the appeal of extremist ideology.

Yadav also urged citizens to lend their support to the government’s efforts, stating that public cooperation plays a pivotal role in maintaining law and order and strengthening the state’s resilience against extremist threats.
