The automaker stated that it is currently assessing the full extent of the impact of the incident on its operations. However, it expressed confidence that any production loss resulting from the disruption would be largely recovered within the next quarter.

On the sales front, Hyundai reassured investors that the incident is not expected to significantly affect retail performance in June 2026. The company said it has adequate inventory available across its dealer network to meet customer demand during the temporary disruption.

The update provided relief to the market, as Hyundai emphasized both operational resilience and supply-chain management measures following the supplier plant fire. With production recovery timelines already outlined and retail inventory remaining sufficient, the company expects to restore normal manufacturing operations while minimizing the overall impact on business performance.
