Violent Land Dispute Erupts in Uttar Pradesh Village, Three Critically Injured

A violent land dispute in Binhora village of Uttar Pradesh’s Raebareli district left three people, including women, critically injured after a group assault with sticks and clubs. Police have launched an investigation and are searching for the accused following the deadly attack.

 

A long-simmering land dispute turned violent in a village of Uttar Pradesh’s Raebareli district, leaving three members of a family, including women, critically injured after a brutal group assault, according to local authorities.

The incident occurred in Binhora village under the Bhadohkar police station area, where more than a dozen men allegedly attacked a family during a confrontation over disputed land. Armed with sticks and clubs, the assailants reportedly launched a sudden and life-threatening assault, creating panic in the area and forcing residents to rush to the victims’ aid.

Police sources said the attack resulted in serious injuries to three individuals, all of whom were immediately taken to the district hospital for emergency treatment. Their condition has been described as serious, and medical teams are closely monitoring their recovery.

Following the incident, police registered the case and initiated an investigation to establish the sequence of events and identify all those involved. Raids are underway to trace and arrest the accused, who fled the scene after the assault. Officials stated that statements from witnesses and family members are being recorded as part of the inquiry.
