Addressing the role of academic and educational institutions in language preservation, Fadnavis said the Maharashtra government is prepared to extend financial support for initiatives focused on Marathi language development. The Chief Minister encouraged the Maharashtra Shikshan Mandal to utilise this opportunity to design and implement meaningful projects that contribute to the enrichment, propagation, and long-term safeguarding of the language. According to him, institutions with a legacy in education carry a special responsibility in nurturing linguistic identity while adapting to contemporary educational needs.
