In northern India, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh are expected to receive rainfall at isolated places from September 9 to 15. Himachal Pradesh is likely to experience rainfall from September 9 to 13, while Uttarakhand may receive rain at isolated places on September 9 and 10 and again on September 15.
Scattered rainfall is forecast across eastern Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Punjab from September 9 to 15, western Uttar Pradesh from September 11 to 15, western Rajasthan from September 12 to 15, and eastern Rajasthan on September 9 and from September 11 to 15.
Himachal Pradesh is likely to receive fairly heavy rainfall from September 14 to 15, while Uttarakhand is expected to experience fairly heavy rain from September 11 to 14. Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning are likely over Uttarakhand from September 10 to 14 and eastern Uttar Pradesh on September 9 and 10. Isolated heavy rainfall is also expected over Uttarakhand from September 10 to 13 and over Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Punjab from September 14 to 15.
In central India, western Madhya Pradesh is expected to receive rainfall from September 9 to 11, while eastern Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha are likely to experience rain on September 9 and 10 and again on September 15. Chhattisgarh is forecast to receive rainfall on September 9.

For eastern India, the weather department has forecast rainfall over the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim from September 9 to 15. Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand and Odisha are likely to receive rainfall from September 9 to 12, while Bihar is expected to receive fairly heavy rainfall on September 9. The Andaman and Nicobar Islands may also experience isolated thunderstorms accompanied by lightning from September 10 to 15.
Northeastern India is also expected to witness strong rainfall activity. Arunachal Pradesh is likely to receive rain on September 9 and 10, Assam and Meghalaya on September 10, and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura from September 14 to 15.
