The unexpected graphic appeared during the live telecast, replacing what should have been the official team combination for Pakistan in the ongoing Test match against Bangladesh.
Although the video clip of the error was later removed from social media platforms, screenshots and photographs of the moment were quickly captured by fans and widely circulated online. Despite the widespread attention generated by the incident, the broadcasters have not issued any official clarification regarding how the incorrect scorecard was aired during the live broadcast.
While the broadcasting blunder dominated online discussions, Bangladesh produced an impressive performance on the field. Captain Najmul Hossain Shanto led from the front with a brilliant century, while Mominul Haque made a valuable contribution of 91 runs.
Shanto reached his ninth Test century in only 129 deliveries, striking 12 boundaries and two sixes to delight the home crowd at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
