Dot & Key Elevates Sunscreen Line with Next-Generation Photostable UV Filter Technology for Enhanced Long-Lasting Protection
Dot & Key has upgraded its sunscreen portfolio with a next-generation photostable UV filter system featuring DHHB, EHT, Tinosorb S and Tinosorb M. The reformulated SPF 50+ PA++++ sunscreens offer broad-spectrum UVA and UVB protection, in-vivo tested efficacy, water-light texture, no white cast, and long-lasting stability for Indian skin conditions.
The upgraded formulations power the brand’s best-selling sunscreens, including Vitamin C + E Super Bright Sunscreen SPF 50+ PA++++, Strawberry Tinted Sunscreen SPF 50+ PA++++, and Dragon Fruit Sunscreen SPF 50+ PA++++. The enhancement ensures stronger and more reliable broad-spectrum protection that remains stable even under prolonged sun exposure.
At the core of this advancement is a carefully engineered combination of four globally recognised advanced UV filters: DHHB (Uvinul A Plus), EHT (Uvinul T 150), Tinosorb S, and Tinosorb M. These filters are widely acknowledged for their high efficacy and photostability, ensuring they do not degrade easily under sunlight exposure, unlike conventional UV filters. This stability guarantees consistent sun protection throughout the day.
The reformulated sunscreens are in-vivo tested for SPF 50+, confirming strong protection against UVB rays responsible for sunburn. The PA++++ rating ensures the highest level of UVA protection, helping reduce tanning, pigmentation, and premature skin ageing. Together, the system provides comprehensive defense against both UVA and UVB radiation.
Despite the scientific upgrade, the brand has retained its signature sensorial experience. The sunscreens continue to feature a water-light, fast-absorbing, non-greasy formulation that leaves no white cast and remains comfortable in heat and humidity, ensuring everyday usability without compromise on texture or feel.
“At Dot & Key, we are continuously evolving with science to deliver skincare that performs while feeling good on the skin. This next-generation photostable UV filter system enables more consistent and long-lasting protection in real-world conditions. By integrating advanced global filters with improved formulations, we have strengthened both efficacy and user experience, making daily sun protection more reliable and effortless,” said Suyash Saraf, Co-founder of Dot & Key.
