Ghaziabad Police Detain Five Suspects as Manhunt Continues, Says ACP Suryabali Maurya

Ghaziabad police have detained five suspects after registering a case, while search operations continue for other accused, ACP Suryabali Maurya said. Authorities are probing all angles and using intelligence inputs to ensure swift arrests and uphold law and order.

 

Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh — Police in Ghaziabad have intensified their investigation into a recently registered case, detaining five suspects while continuing efforts to trace and arrest others believed to be involved. The development was confirmed by ACP Suryabali Maurya, who said the operation is ongoing and being handled with priority.

According to senior police officials, a formal case has been registered following the incident, after which multiple teams were deployed to identify and track those allegedly connected to the matter. As part of the investigation, five individuals have been taken into custody for questioning. Their roles are currently being examined as investigators work to establish the sequence of events and the extent of involvement of each suspect.

ACP Maurya stated that the police are examining all possible angles related to the case. He emphasized that sustained efforts are underway to locate the remaining accused, with surveillance and intelligence inputs being actively used to speed up arrests.
