Unbound Launches ‘Real Moments. Unscripted. Unbound.’ Campaign, Redefining Modern Indian Masculinity Through Real Stories
Unbound has launched its digital-first campaign “Real Moments. Unscripted. Unbound.”, redefining modern Indian masculinity through authentic stories of athletes, creators, yogis, travellers, and fitness practitioners. Founded by Kanika Mittal and Atul Arora, the men’s self-care brand positions itself as a culture-first movement built around performance, simplicity, and self-respect.
At a time when inner strength, balance, and presence are emerging as equally important markers of success, the campaign reflects a larger cultural shift shaping contemporary lifestyles. The film departs sharply from the constructed masculinity commonly portrayed in Indian advertising. Instead of actors performing scripted roles, Unbound built the campaign around the real lives of practitioners whose journeys already embody movement, discipline, and personal evolution.
The edit combines high-energy visuals from athletes, creators, travellers, coaches, and fitness practitioners across India. The film features technical boxing and yoga sequences led by real-life coaches and trainers, alongside scenes ranging from inverted crunches and headstands on mountain cliffs to skydiving and physically demanding sporting pursuits. The campaign presents the cinematic quality and raw intensity of content already being created by practitioners themselves.
From coaches helping others build strength to yogis balancing stillness with discipline, from everyday athletes building sustainable fitness lifestyles to creators documenting life in motion, the campaign highlights stories that are lived rather than performed. Through these narratives, Unbound introduces a fresh interpretation of what it means to be “#AlreadyUnbound”, focusing on the spaces where individuals feel most alive.
Speaking about the initiative, Kanika Mittal said, “Authenticity, for us, comes from what is already being lived. Every day, men are moving, training, pushing their limits, and finding their own sense of balance in the middle of it all. These moments are deeply personal, instinctive, and shaped by everyday discipline. We simply brought them together into a campaign that reflects how men truly feel unbound when immersed in the sports and fitness activities they love. What we’re building is fluid, shaped not just by us, but by a growing community where every new experience adds to the evolving expression of what it means to be unbound.”
Atul Arora added, “With ‘Real Moments. Unscripted. Unbound.’, the intent was to move away from creating a defined narrative and instead curate one from real life. While our products are rooted in skin, hair, and body care, our values are rooted in supporting a generation that increasingly values personal growth and the freedom to define success on its own terms. We invite people to experience the world of Unbound at unbound-lifestyle.com.”
Extending the campaign’s philosophy, the brand introduced “#AlreadyUnbound”, encouraging individuals to share their own moments and become part of a larger collective movement. Through this initiative, Unbound positions itself beyond the category of personal care products, presenting self-care as an expression of self-respect and a way of living rooted in movement, balance, and personal discipline.
Unbound is built around the philosophy of “Zero-Step Self-Care” and develops high-efficacy, multi-functional products across skin, hair, and body care designed for modern lifestyles. The brand addresses daily stressors such as sweat, sun exposure, pollution, and hard water through solutions intended to simplify routines without compromising performance. The company is currently preparing for its launch in India.
The company was founded by Kanika Mittal and Atul Arora, entrepreneurs with extensive experience in consumer businesses, brand building, digital commerce, and omnichannel growth. Kanika Mittal previously held leadership roles as Country Head for Twitter India, Country Manager at Taboola, and Marketing Director at Reebok India. She currently serves as an Independent Board Director at Datamatics and is also a bestselling author. Her experience spans strategy, revenue growth, digital media, and ad tech.
Atul Arora brings experience in omnichannel and digital commerce across India and the Middle East, having held senior leadership positions at Reebok, Benetton, Namshi, and Landmark Group. He played a significant role in scaling e-commerce businesses across sports, fitness, and lifestyle categories.
Together, the founders are building Unbound with the ambition of creating a new category in men’s self-care centred on performance, simplicity, and movement. The brand also aims to establish a culture-first identity celebrating real moments of men being unbound, from athletes and coaches to entrepreneurs and professionals integrating movement into their everyday lives.
The campaign also features contributors including Aman Dhoni, a calisthenics coach focused on outdoor training and natural movement; Shivam Anand, an ACE-certified fitness coach and nutrition specialist focused on longevity for busy professionals and also an avid biker and boxing enthusiast; Dr Amit, a yogi, corporate wellness coach, author, entrepreneur, and environmental scientist practising the pursuit of science and spirituality; Aayush, a sales director and senior corporate professional who enjoys pushing his limits through sports such as skydiving; Taufeeq, a traveller documenting his experiences; Deepak, a fitness coach focused on strength and transformation; and Shiva, a filmmaker documenting travel experiences.
As India’s men’s personal care market evolves amid changing definitions of success and identity, Unbound’s “Real Moments. Unscripted. Unbound.” campaign signals a decisive shift toward authenticity, lived experiences, and self-care rooted in performance, discipline, and movement.
