Modi Declares ‘India’s Techade’ as Nation Accelerates Semiconductor and AI Initiatives in Gujarat

The Prime Minister made these remarks after inaugurating the OSAT plant of Kaynes Semiconductor in Sanand, Gujarat, yesterday. He stated that India is emerging as a leading partner in the field of semiconductors, underlining the strategic importance of the sector in strengthening the nation’s technological and economic position on the global stage.

Later in the day, the Prime Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for development projects worth around 20 thousand crore rupees at Nani in Vav-Tharad district of Gujarat. These projects form a significant part of the government’s broader infrastructure and development agenda in the region.

Addressing the gathering, the Prime Minister also spoke on international developments, stating that despite the West Asia conflict, India has kept the situation under control. He affirmed that his Government has not allowed the impact of the West Asia conflict to affect the citizens of the country, highlighting administrative preparedness and policy measures undertaken to ensure stability.

The Prime Minister further inaugurated the Samrat Samprati Museum in Koba, Gandhinagar, yesterday, marking another step in promoting cultural and historical preservation alongside technological advancement.

The series of inaugurations and announcements underscores the government’s dual focus on accelerating technological growth while maintaining economic stability and safeguarding national interests amid global challenges.
