India Declared Free from Left-Wing Extremism, Amit Shah Credits Modi Government’s Decisive Measures

In a strong assertion in the Lok Sabha, Home Minister Amit Shah declared that India has become free from left-wing extremism, attributing this significant development to the decisive steps taken by the Modi government. The statement came during his reply to a discussion under Rule 193 on efforts to eliminate Left-Wing Extremism from the country.

Amit Shah stated that left-wing extremism had long restricted development in the affected areas, creating barriers to growth and progress. He emphasized that the situation has now changed, with development actively reaching these previously impacted regions, marking a shift in governance and administrative effectiveness.

Addressing the House, the Home Minister underscored the government’s firm stance on security, asserting that anyone who takes up arms will be dealt with strictly. He further stated that violence will be met with equal force, declaring that a bullet will be answered with a bullet. His remarks reinforced the government’s zero-tolerance policy towards extremism and armed insurgency.
