Pressure Mounts on BJP Over Dushyant Gautam as Kuldeep Kumar Demands Action

Political pressure mounts on the BJP as leader Kuldeep Kumar questions party leadership and police inaction over former MLA Dushyant Gautam. Following disclosures by Gautam’s wife, demands for accountability and official action have intensified in Delhi’s political circles.

New Delhi: Political tensions are rising in the national capital after senior BJP leader Kuldeep Kumar publicly questioned both the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Delhi Police over the absence of action against former BJP MLA Dushyant Gautam. Kumar’s remarks have intensified scrutiny on the party’s internal accountability and the role of law enforcement in politically sensitive cases.

Addressing the issue, Kuldeep Kumar said recent disclosures made by Gautam’s wife have cast a harsh spotlight on the former legislator and, by extension, the party that once backed him. He argued that the revelations have exposed what he described as the BJP’s “real face,” and called for immediate clarity on how the matter will be handled at both the political and administrative levels.

Kumar directly challenged BJP’s national leadership, raising questions for party president Nitin Naveen over whether disciplinary or legal steps would be initiated against Dushyant Gautam. He also questioned the silence of the police, asking when authorities would move to take action against the former MLA in light of the allegations now in the public domain.

The issue has quickly gained traction across political circles, with opposition leaders and observers closely watching how the BJP responds. The case has also renewed debate over the consistency of law enforcement action when influential political figures are involved, particularly in matters emerging from personal and familial disclosures.

As public attention intensifies, the coming days are expected to test both the BJP’s internal decision-making and the responsiveness of the police. With political credibility and public trust at stake, the next steps taken by party leadership and law enforcement agencies are likely to have broader implications beyond this single controversy.
