Former UP Minister Accuses Past SP Government of Enabling Forged Documents for Illegal Entrants

Former Uttar Pradesh minister Siddharth Nath Singh has alleged that infiltrators received forged documents during the previous Samajwadi Party government. Speaking in Prayagraj, he questioned SP workers’ role and said BJP teams and authorities are now working to correct past irregularities.

In a pointed political attack that has reignited debate over illegal immigration and administrative accountability in Uttar Pradesh, former state minister Siddharth Nath Singh has alleged that forged documents were issued to infiltrators during the previous Samajwadi Party (SP) government. Speaking in Prayagraj, Singh questioned the role and conduct of SP workers during the period when, according to him, unlawful paperwork was facilitated for individuals who should never have been granted official identification.

Singh asserted that the irregularities he claims occurred under the SP administration have now placed a significant corrective burden on the current BJP-led government. He emphasized that both party workers and local authorities are actively working together to identify discrepancies and rectify what he described as deliberate administrative lapses from the past.

The former minister maintained that the present government is committed to tightening verification systems and ensuring that any documents secured through wrongful means are reviewed and corrected. While Singh’s remarks add a politically charged dimension to the ongoing discourse surrounding security and identification protocols, they also highlight a broader contest between the ruling and opposition parties over past administrative decisions and their long-term impact.

As the issue continues to unfold, the allegations are likely to sharpen the political divide in the state, with questions of accountability, governance ethics, and procedural transparency taking center stage in Uttar Pradesh’s public conversation.
