According to officials, intensive checks were deployed simultaneously across 150 key junctions and public spaces identified as critical for crime prevention and urban safety. Nearly 5,000 personnel from multiple wings—including Law & Order, Traffic, Task Force, Armed Reserve, Blue Colts units and regular patrol teams—were mobilised to execute the citywide operation.
Senior police officers stated that the drive is intended to deter criminal activity, enhance nighttime vigilance and reassure residents about their safety.
