Next Hearing in Rahul Gandhi Citizenship Case Set for December 12

The Raebareli MP/MLA court has set December 12 as the next hearing date in the case challenging Rahul Gandhi’s citizenship. Petitioner S. Vignesh Shishir and his lawyer presented arguments before Judge Vivek Kumar Second, who continues to oversee the proceedings in this politically significant matter.

The Raebareli MP/MLA court has scheduled the next hearing in the ongoing case questioning Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s citizenship for December 12, marking another step in a matter that has periodically resurfaced in political and legal circles. The proceedings unfolded on Monday before Judge Vivek Kumar Second, who continues to preside over the case.

The petition challenging Gandhi’s citizenship status was filed by S. Vignesh Shishir, who appeared in court along with his counsel, Vindeshwari Singh, to present their arguments. The complainant reiterated his claims regarding alleged discrepancies in Gandhi’s citizenship documentation, prompting the court to continue examining the matter.

Judge Vivek Kumar Second heard the arguments and noted the submissions made by both sides before fixing December 12 as the date for the next round of proceedings. The case remains under active consideration in the special MP/MLA court, which is tasked with handling matters related to elected representatives.

As the hearing progresses, the legal challenge is expected to draw considerable public and political attention, given the high-profile nature of the respondent and the potential implications tied to the petition’s claims.
