Chandrashekhar Azad Targets BJP and Election Commission During Amroha Visit

MP Chandrashekhar Azad Ravan visited Amroha, launching a strong attack on the BJP government and the Election Commission over SIR-related issues. During his tour, he also visited Jalalpur Dhana village, met locals, and reviewed grassroots problems amid rising political tensions in Uttar Pradesh.

Amroha witnessed a charged political moment as Member of Parliament Chandrashekhar Azad, popularly known as Chandrashekhar Azad Ravan, launched a sharp critique of the Bharatiya Janata Party-led government and the Election Commission during his visit to the district. His remarks, delivered amid growing political activity in the region, underscored mounting opposition concerns over governance and electoral processes.

Addressing supporters and local residents, Azad accused the BJP government of failing on key democratic and administrative fronts. He placed particular emphasis on issues related to the Special Investigation Report (SIR), alleging that both the government and the Election Commission had not handled related matters with the transparency and fairness expected of constitutional authorities. While refraining from detailing specific allegations, his statements reflected broader opposition apprehensions surrounding institutional accountability.

As part of his visit, the MP also travelled to Jalalpur Dhana village, where he interacted with residents and surveyed local conditions. During the village visit, Azad listened to grievances raised by locals and reviewed ongoing problems affecting daily life, positioning the outreach as an effort to directly connect parliamentary representation with grassroots realities.

The Amroha visit comes at a time when political rhetoric is intensifying across Uttar Pradesh, with opposition leaders increasingly scrutinising the role of government bodies and electoral institutions. Azad’s remarks and ground-level engagement signal a continued push by his party to highlight administrative issues and mobilise public attention around questions of governance, fairness, and democratic oversight.
