Cooperation Is the Backbone of Trust and Self-Reliance, Says Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath says cooperatives are not just economic institutions but pillars of trust, social strength, and self-reliance. He highlights state-led reforms to empower farmers, rural communities, and small entrepreneurs while advancing the vision of a self-reliant Uttar Pradesh.
The Chief Minister emphasized that cooperatives play a crucial role in organizing farmers, rural communities, and small entrepreneurs, enabling them to collectively improve their economic standing. Through this structured collaboration, he noted, livelihoods are being strengthened and new employment opportunities are being generated, particularly in rural and semi-urban areas. Beyond economic gains, the cooperative model is also fostering a culture of shared responsibility and collective progress across communities.
Yogi Adityanath further stated that the state government is actively pursuing policy-level reforms and structural improvements to reinforce cooperative institutions. These efforts, he said, are aimed at making cooperatives more efficient, transparent, and responsive to grassroots needs. Strengthening this sector remains a key pillar of the government’s broader strategy to achieve the goal of a self-reliant Uttar Pradesh.
Concluding his remarks, the Chief Minister highlighted that a robust cooperative system not only empowers individuals economically but also enhances social cohesion, making it an indispensable tool for inclusive and sustainable development in the state.
