Breaking Language Barriers: Telangana CM Revanth Reddy Urges Students to Dream Big, Announces ₹1,000 Crore Boost for OU Infrastructure

Telangana CM Revanth Reddy urged students not to let language barriers limit their aspirations, citing global examples of success beyond English fluency. During his address in Hyderabad, he announced a major ₹1,000 crore infrastructure upgrade for Osmania University, highlighting the government’s focus on education and youth empowerment.

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Thursday delivered an emphatic message to students in Hyderabad, urging them not to let language constraints limit their ambitions. Addressing a gathering, he emphasized that true progress is driven by determination and skill rather than fluency in any particular language. “Look at Japan and China—despite not relying on English, they continue to achieve extraordinary growth,” he said, adding, “Look at me; I am running the state.”

During his address, the Chief Minister announced a significant infrastructural push for Osmania University (OU), declaring a ₹1,000 crore allocation to modernize and expand facilities at the historic institution. He noted that the investment is aimed at improving academic resources, strengthening the campus environment, and ensuring students have access to world-class infrastructure.

Reddy encouraged students to pursue excellence through hard work and continuous learning, emphasizing that passion and capability transcend linguistic boundaries. He reiterated that the government remains committed to empowering young people with opportunities that foster innovation and personal growth.

The announcement marks one of the largest recent investments in OU’s development, underscoring the administration’s intent to revitalize higher education in the state. As Telangana continues to focus on youth upliftment, Reddy’s message stands as both a motivational call and a signal of the government’s broader vision for academic advancement.
