Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Monday paid heartfelt tribute to legendary freedom fighter and educationist Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya, remembering his enduring contribution to India’s independence movement and nation-building efforts. The Chief Minister highlighted Malaviya’s rare ability to combine resistance against British colonial rule with a lifelong commitment to strengthening India’s cultural and intellectual foundations.

Speaking on the occasion, Yadav said that Malaviya’s role during the most challenging phase of the freedom struggle went far beyond political resistance. He noted that at a time when the country was grappling with colonial oppression, Malaviya envisioned education as a powerful tool for national awakening and cultural revival.
