IAF Launches Swift Airlift Operation to Contain Massive Forest Fire in Nagaland The Indian Air Force launched an emergency aerial operation in Nagaland to control a massive forest fire in the Western Jukou Valley. Mi-17 helicopters used Bambi buckets to drop water from Padampukhuri Lake, successfully containing the blaze by evening and preventing major damage.
