According to officials, the accident unfolded as vehicles struggled to navigate through dense fog, drastically reducing sightlines for drivers. The impact of the collisions was so severe that several CNG-powered vehicles caught fire, trapping occupants before emergency services could reach them. Four people were burned to death at the spot, authorities confirmed.
The aftermath saw scenes of panic as passengers attempted to escape the wreckage amid flames and smoke. Responding swiftly, the administration dispatched more than a dozen ambulances to the site.
