A house was allegedly demolished during a land dispute in Ambedkarnagar’s Aria village without administrative presence. Police seized two JCB excavators and launched an investigation, amid allegations that the action was carried out without official permission in the Akbarpur Kotwali area.  

Reports of masked individuals wandering through Jhansi’s Bajrang Colony late at night triggered panic among residents, leading to urgent calls for stronger police security. Nawabad police have stepped up patrols and launched a search for the suspects as locals demand tighter neighbourhood safety measures.

An elderly woman was found dead inside a well in Shravasti’s Sonwa area, prompting swift action from the district’s Superintendent of Police. A special team has been deployed to investigate whether the death was accidental or involved foul play. The body has been sent for post-mortem and the probe is underway.
