CM Mohan Yadav Says Security Forces’ Courage and Rehabilitation Policy Have Fostered New Climate of Peace in Madhya Pradesh
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav says the state has entered a new era of peace and trust, crediting the courage of security forces and the government’s rehabilitation policy for curbing Naxal activity and helping former extremists reintegrate into mainstream society.
Dr. Yadav noted that the relentless efforts of security forces have played a decisive role in curbing Naxal activity, underscoring their commitment and discipline in challenging terrains. He said that officers and frontline personnel have demonstrated exceptional resolve, which has been crucial in reducing the operational influence of extremist groups.
Alongside these security operations, the Chief Minister highlighted the government’s rehabilitation policy as a transformative step in nurturing long-term stability. The initiative is designed to encourage individuals associated with Naxal groups to renounce violence, reintegrate into civil life and reclaim opportunities for a dignified future. According to him, the approach has helped rebuild trust in communities that were once deeply affected by conflict, offering pathways to social acceptance, economic participation and restored confidence in governance.
Dr. Yadav reiterated that the dual strategy of firm security action and compassionate rehabilitation is laying the foundation for sustained peace in Madhya Pradesh.
