MP Launches Fully Online, Transparent Recruitment for Anganwadi Workers, CM Mohan Yadav Calls Appointment Letters a ‘Pledge’ to Women

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announces the state’s first fully online and transparent recruitment process for Anganwadi workers, highlighting the initiative as a pledge to empower qualified women and strengthen community welfare services. The move marks a significant reform in administrative transparency.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Tuesday underscored his government’s commitment to strengthening opportunities for women, announcing that the state has implemented a fully online and transparent recruitment system for Anganwadi workers for the first time. Speaking in Bhopal, Yadav said the initiative reflects the state’s broader efforts—guided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi—to expand welfare measures and create inclusive platforms for women’s empowerment.

According to the Chief Minister, the digitised hiring process marks a significant transition from traditional selection methods, ensuring that only eligible and qualified candidates are appointed. He emphasised that the system eliminates ambiguity, enhances accountability, and reinforces fairness at every stage of recruitment. “This is not just an appointment letter; it is our pledge to the women of the state,” Yadav remarked, highlighting the administration’s intent to promote transparency while offering long-term support to frontline workers who play a pivotal role in child nutrition and maternal welfare.

The Chief Minister’s announcement comes as part of a larger push to modernise public service delivery in Madhya Pradesh, particularly within sectors that directly impact women and children. Officials noted that the revamped process is designed to minimise manual intervention and ensure that applicants from across the state can participate without barriers.

By anchoring Anganwadi recruitment in a digital framework, the government aims to reinforce trust in administrative procedures and strengthen the backbone of community-level welfare services. The move is expected to set a precedent for future recruitments in related departments, signalling a decisive shift toward transparent governance and sustained support for grassroots workers.
