Uttar Pradesh Allocates ₹25,000 per Government Secondary School to Strengthen Sports Infrastructure
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announces ₹25,000 in assistance for every government secondary school to enhance sports facilities, purchase equipment and promote active student participation. The initiative aims to strengthen sports culture and support youth development across the state.
According to the Chief Minister, the allocated funds are intended to help schools purchase essential sports equipment, upgrade basic facilities and create an atmosphere where students feel motivated to participate in diverse physical disciplines. He emphasised that fostering a strong sports culture is central to the state’s educational vision, ensuring that children have equal opportunities to excel both in the classroom and on the field.
