India’s Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal, speaking at the UAE National Day celebrations in New Delhi, praised India–UAE relations as a benchmark of economic excellence, highlighting rising trade, investment, and strategic cooperation while reaffirming India’s commitment to expanding the partnership further.
Goyal noted that the partnership has evolved into one of India’s most robust international engagements, rooted in mutual trust and shared economic priorities. He highlighted that the upward trajectory of trade and investment between the two sides reflects not only their economic strength but also their aligned vision for sustainable development at a global level. According to the minister, the collaboration spans critical areas such as energy, logistics, emerging technologies, and infrastructure, each contributing to a more resilient regional and international economic order.
