UAE Envoy Highlights Deepening Trust as India and Emirates Mark 54th Union Day in New Delhi

At the UAE’s 54th National Day celebration in New Delhi, Ambassador Abdulnasser Alshaali reaffirmed that India–UAE ties are built on trust, friendship and shared ambition. He announced the creation of an “India House” in Abu Dhabi to highlight India’s culture as both nations deepen strategic and cultural cooperation.

At a grand reception in New Delhi celebrating the 54th UAE National Day, the Emirates’ Ambassador to India, Abdulnasser Alshaali, underlined the growing strategic depth of the India–UAE relationship, describing it as a partnership rooted in trust, friendship, and a shared vision for the future.

Addressing diplomats, government representatives and cultural dignitaries gathered for the occasion, Ambassador Alshaali emphasized that cooperation between the two nations has expanded across trade, technology, connectivity and cultural exchange, reflecting a rapidly evolving bilateral framework. He noted that both governments have continued to invest in long-term collaboration aimed at strengthening regional stability and economic resilience.

In a significant cultural announcement, the ambassador revealed that Abu Dhabi will soon host an “India House” — an upcoming landmark dedicated to showcasing India’s rich artistic heritage, cultural traditions and historical legacy. He said the initiative will serve as a permanent platform to celebrate the civilizational links between the two countries and to encourage deeper people-to-people engagement.

Throughout the evening, the envoy reiterated that India and the UAE are moving forward with renewed energy, backed by expanding economic complementarities and a commitment to shared progress. As the celebrations concluded, the message was clear: the partnership is not only enduring but also gaining momentum, shaped by mutual respect and a strong foundation of cultural affinity that continues to bind the two nations.
