Child’s Body Found in Sack in Ballia; Senior Police, Forensic Teams Launch Intensive Probe
A child’s body found inside a sack in Ballia’s Amdaria village triggered a swift response from senior police and forensic teams. Led by the SP, authorities formed four investigative units to identify the victim and uncover the circumstances of the death, launching an intensive probe into the disturbing incident.
According to authorities, the child had been reported missing earlier, prompting local police to begin a search operation. Once the body was recovered from the Fefna police station limits, Superintendent of Police (SP) Ballia arrived at the scene along with other top officials. The SP, accompanied by the Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP), constituted four specialized teams to examine every angle of the case, including forensic and surveillance units tasked with collecting evidence and analyzing technical inputs.
Police said the combined teams were working to confirm the child’s identity and establish the circumstances surrounding the death.
