The purchase order covers the supply of 150 MT of fabricated MS beams and 150 MT of MS square bars (hollow). The order adds to the company’s recent order inflow, with Cosmic CRF having received another major order from a Kolkata-based engineering and infrastructure company just two days earlier.
That earlier direct purchase order was worth ₹1,179.92 lakh, or approximately ₹11.80 crore, including GST.
Cosmic CRF, which started operations in 2021, manufactures railway components, sheet piles and structures at its cold-rolled forming unit. The company provides customised engineering solutions, with its products used across irrigation, construction, automotive and railway wagon applications.
Its clients include India Railways (IRCT) and private-sector companies such as HEIL, Texmaco, Besco, Jupiter, Titagarh and Jindal Rail.
The company was listed in July 2023, and its stock has delivered a substantial return since listing. Since then, the Cosmic CRF share has risen 413%, meaning it has increased investors’ money more than fivefold.
However, the stock was trading slightly lower on Tuesday. At around 1:30 pm, shares of Cosmic CRF were down 0.63% at ₹1,280 on the BSE.
The fresh ₹250.46 lakh order, following the ₹1,179.92 lakh purchase order received two days earlier, highlights the latest order activity at Cosmic CRF and its subsidiary Engineering Projects Private Limited.
