Based on cumulative scores, the national leaderboard for Stage-1 has now been released, showcasing the country’s brightest crossword minds.
Top Performers Shine in Stage-1
Ludhiana’s Anhad Kaur and Divya Dhiman from BCM Arya Senior Secondary School claimed the top spot nationally. Dhairya Pandey from Don Bosco Academy, Patna secured the second rank, while Shraddha Shri from St. Michael’s High School, Patna stood third. Several teams from DPS Patna also made a remarkable impact by securing multiple positions in the top 10.

Bihar emerged as the biggest winner at the state level, securing 29 teams in the Top 100. Maharashtra followed with 21 qualifiers, while Delhi secured 13 teams in the elite list.
DPS Pune Tops Institutional Rankings
At the institutional level, Delhi Public School, Pune stood out with 11 qualifying teams, the highest from any single school. Close behind were Bhavan’s Public School, Hyderabad (10 teams), Adarsh Public School, New Delhi (10 teams), and Ambedkar Residential School, Bihar (10 teams).
Stage-2: Face-to-Face Battles Await in September
A total of 100 teams have now qualified for Stage-2, which will be conducted as an exciting face-to-face round starting in September. Contestants will battle it out in person, testing their wit, problem-solving skills, and mastery over cryptic wordplay. The best performers will advance to the Grand Finale.
