SAN FRANCISCO — In a definitive shift for the future of digital discovery, Pepper successfully hosted INDEX’26, its flagship Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) Growth Summit, convening more than 200 senior marketing and AI leaders for an exclusive, operator-led exploration of measurable demand in an AI-first world. The high-profile assembly featured a primary leadership cohort including Anirudh Singla, Co-founder and CEO of Pepper; Vamshi Sriperumbudur, Former Palo Alto Networks SASE CMO; Kishan Panpalia, Founding Team of Pepper; and Rishabh Shekhar, Co-founder and COO of Pepper.

The summit showcased a distinguished lineup of global authorities at the intersection of technology and marketing, opening with a keynote address by Dane Vahey, Head of B2B at OpenAI, followed by insights from Alexandra London, CMO at G2. INDEX’26 witnessed an overwhelming surge in professional interest, with registrations closing at 2.5 times the venue’s capacity and leaving over 80 professionals on a waitlist. This substantial organic response, achieved entirely without the use of paid promotion, underscores a growing urgency among global enterprises to adapt to the evolving landscape of AI-led visibility.

Anirudh Singla, Co-founder and CEO of Pepper, emphasized that the event was designed as a dedicated space for operators actively rethinking growth rather than a traditional marketing conference. Singla noted that the presence of leaders from powerhouse platforms such as OpenAI, LinkedIn, and Reddit validates that Generative Engine Optimization is rapidly transitioning from a theoretical concept to practical implementation. An ecosystem panel—comprising Dev Khare of Lightspeed Ventures, Sid Arora from LinkedIn, and DJ Capobianco of Reddit—further dissected how shifting market dynamics are fundamentally redefining growth strategies.

The speaker roster included prominent figures such as Joyce Hwang from Dropbox, Heidi Bullock from Marketo, and Christine Royston from Wrike, alongside Amanda Kahlow, Drew Neisser, Sydney Sloan, Elay Cohen, and AJ Gandhi. These experts addressed a highly curated audience of enterprise decision-makers from industry titans including Salesforce, Nvidia, Intel, Snowflake, Gong, 6sense, Demandbase, JFrog, Zendesk, and Tealium. This diverse group of CMOs, VPs, and Heads of Marketing engaged deeply with the technical frameworks presented, most notably during Kishan Panpalia’s GEO research session. The presentation saw standing-room-only participation and exceptional engagement, evidenced by attendees capturing over 500 screenshots of the 20-slide research deck.

Reflecting on the structural changes within the industry, Dev Khare observed that market structures, rather than just marketing tactics, are undergoing a transformation. This sentiment was echoed in the immediate aftermath of the summit, as industry leaders including Claire Darling, Genefa Murphy, Anand Akela, Meghan Keough, Sandra Lopez, Karen Brewer, and David DeJonghe shared unsolicited organic feedback on LinkedIn, characterizing INDEX’26 as one of the premier marketing conferences of the year.

The success of INDEX’26 serves as a testament to conviction-led community building, achieving significant industry impact without large-scale funding or agency amplification. By bridging the gap between global technology platforms and enterprise leadership through pure relevance and industry trust, Pepper has established a new benchmark for AI-first growth. Following the momentum generated in San Francisco, the summit is scheduled to expand its global footprint to New York City on May 27, continuing the critical dialogue on GEO adoption and the future of enterprise discovery.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has officially announced its decision to keep the repo rate unchanged at 5.25%, a move that reflects a calibrated “wait-and-watch” approach. This strategic pause comes at a critical juncture as global economic uncertainty, escalating geopolitical tensions—specifically in the Middle East—and persistent inflationary pressures continue to shape macroeconomic conditions. While maintaining a neutral stance, the central bank signaled its confidence in the national growth trajectory by issuing an upward revision in near-term GDP projections. This decision has been widely welcomed by the real estate sector, which views the 5.25% holding as a bedrock for stability that ensures steady borrowing costs and supports housing demand despite the risks of imported inflation and high energy prices.

Industry leaders across the residential and commercial segments have voiced their support, emphasizing that policy continuity is essential for sustaining end-user demand and project viability. Deepak Kapoor, Director of Gulshan Group, noted that the move reinforces confidence in India’s economic resilience against the backdrop of global volatility. Similarly, Prateek Tiwari, Managing Director of Prateek Group, characterized the decision as a balanced approach that reassures first-time buyers and end-users in strong demand corridors. Sahil Agarwal, CEO of Nimbus Group, added that the neutral stance boosts investment confidence and reinforces positive momentum, while Amit Modi, Director of County Group, observed that while a marginal cut would have offered relief to urban homebuyers, the sector currently prioritizes resilience and the cost of capital.

The stability offered by the RBI is also expected to have a profound impact on commercial and regional markets. Sanchit Bhutani, Managing Director of Group 108, stated that a steady rate provides developers and investors with the predictability needed for efficient liquidity management. Addressing the affordable and mid-housing categories, Sanjay Sharma, Director of SKA Group, remarked that while a rate cut would have further unlocked demand, the current "wait and watch" mode is necessary due to elevated inflation risks. Furthermore, Nitin Shrivastava, Managing Partner of Big FM Realty, and Udit Jain, Director of One Group, highlighted how predictable EMIs foster confidence in Tier 2 cities, where buyers value clarity over short-term incentives.

The broader implications of this policy extend to the retail and urban expansion sectors. Tejpreet Gill, Managing Director of Gillco Group, and Piyush Kansal, Executive Director of Royale Estate Group, both agreed that the current environment ensures predictable borrowing costs for long-term planning in emerging cities. Highlighting the retail perspective, Ajendra Singh, Vice-President of Sales & Marketing at Spectrum Metro, noted that steady rates provide retailers better visibility on financing, supporting leasing activity and healthier occupancies in organized retail spaces. Ultimately, the RBI’s decision to maintain the repo rate at 5.25% serves as a reassuring signal, anchoring the real estate industry’s growth through a period of global supply shocks and economic transition.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has underscored its commitment to economic stability by holding the repo rate steady at 5.25%, a calibrated decision aimed at navigating global uncertainties and persistent inflationary pressures. This strategic move, defined by a shift to a neutral stance, reflects a deliberate effort to sustain equilibrium rather than triggering premature policy shifts. For the Indian real estate sector, this translates into a period of vital continuity, where stable financing conditions and predictable credit flows are empowering both residential and commercial segments to build upon existing momentum without the risk of disruption.

Real estate leaders across the nation have welcomed this neutral stance, noting that a steady repo rate ensures indispensable stability for home loans, EMIs, and overall sector growth. Sandeep Chhillar, Founder & Chairman of Landmark Group, observed that the announcement comes at a time when global uncertainty remains high, stating that the RBI has avoided a premature shift that could have unsettled the broader economy. According to Chhillar, the neutral stance demonstrates a clear awareness of inflation risks and uneven global growth trends, providing near-stable home loan rates and giving policymakers the necessary space to assess incoming data carefully.

Echoing this sentiment, Pankaj Jain, Founder and CMD of SPJ Group, described the decision to maintain the repo rate at 5.25% as a pragmatic move in an environment shaped by global headwinds. Jain noted that while a slight rate cut might have offered marginal relief, the RBI has chosen to wait for stronger macro signals, ensuring that EMIs remain in the same range for borrowers for the time being. Shamsheer Singh, Director of AIPL Group, added that the unchanged rate reflects a conscious effort to preserve growth momentum without introducing friction, suggesting that the current interest rate environment is adequately balanced for both inflation management and economic activity.

The broader implications for the sector are further highlighted by Gurpal Singh Chawla, Managing Director of TREVOC, who pointed out that with upwardly revised GDP growth projections and manageable inflation, the decision provides continued stability. Chawla emphasized that stable liquidity conditions and improving investment sentiment will help maintain current momentum. Similarly, Shyamrup Roy Choudhury, Founder and Managing Director of Aura World, noted that the decision ensures continuity in the benefits accrued from last year’s cumulative rate cuts, encouraging new homebuyers to enter the market through predictable financing conditions.

From an operational perspective, Ashok Singh Jaunapuria, MD & CEO of SS Group, stated that steady benchmark rates translate into predictable home loan offerings for buyers and comfort on the financing side for developers, allowing for uninterrupted project execution. Harinder Singh Hora, Founder Chairman of Reach Group, emphasized that this stability across lending and liquidity channels is crucial for businesses, retailers, and developers to plan long-term expansions and leasing strategies. Umang Jindal, CEO of Homeland Group, further observed that the status quo creates a balanced environment for tier 2 cities, where affordability is a major factor in sustaining demand.

The data-led nature of this pause was highlighted by Mohit Batra, Regional Director of Realistic Realtors, who remarked that the neutral stance signals a balanced policy amid global commodity movements. Raj Kumar Sisodia, COO of Biigtech, noted that consistent interest rates allow occupiers and investors to move ahead with greater confidence, supporting steady, long-term demand. Paras Rai, Managing Director and Co-Founder of Property Master, characterized the pause as a strategic move to stay prepared and flexible rather than a sign of inaction. Finally, Ashwani Kumar of Pyramid Infratech concluded that the status quo ensures EMIs remain unchanged for existing borrowers, offering much-needed predictability in household cash flows and facilitating affordability for prospective buyers. This collective industry perspective underscores the RBI's role in anchoring the real estate market against a volatile global backdrop.

Formally inaugurated by Chandra Bhushan Kumar, IAS, Chief Secretary of the Andaman and Nicobar Administration, the Little Andaman Pro 2026 – National Surf & SUP Championship represents a sophisticated convergence of elite athleticism and administrative vision. The opening ceremony was attended by senior officials from the Administration, representatives of the Surfing Federation of India, and a massive assembly of surfers from across the nation, all gathering to witness the official commencement of this four-day competitive spectacle.

Presented by Andaman & Nicobar Tourism and organized by the Surfing Federation of India, the championship serves as a premier platform for India’s top-ranked surfers and stand-up paddle athletes. The competition features approximately 86 participants, including international competitors, vying for dominance in the Senior Division across four distinct categories: Men’s Open Surfing Shortboard, Women’s Open Surfing Shortboard, Men’s Open Stand-Up Paddleboard, and Women’s Open Stand-Up Paddleboard.

This event is a cornerstone in the expansion of India’s competitive surfing circuit, intentionally designed to challenge athletes with technically demanding reef conditions that differ significantly from the typical beach breaks of mainland India. Arun Vasu, President of the Surfing Federation of India, emphasized that this milestone strengthens the National Surf Series and provides the essential exposure required for Indian athletes to progress toward international excellence. A senior official from Andaman & Nicobar Tourism echoed this sentiment, noting that the event highlights the incredible natural potential of the islands while simultaneously advocating for sustainable tourism and responsible engagement with the marine ecosystem.

The natural advantages of Little Andaman—characterized by crystal-clear waters, vibrant coral reefs, and consistent swell patterns—position the region as an emerging global hub for ocean sports. Beyond the immediate competition, the championship aims to ignite local community engagement by fostering training, employment, and participation within a burgeoning ocean sports ecosystem. As the Little Andaman Pro 2026 unfolds, it scripts a new chapter for the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, celebrating the spirit of the ocean while firmly establishing a conservation-driven approach to world-class adventure sports.

He further asserted that food serves as an essential cultural carrier, bridging geographical divides and connecting generations.

The intellectual framework of the conclave was established by the renowned culinary expert Manjit Singh Gill, who advocated for the global recognition of Indian cuisine as a definitive pillar of the nation’s cultural identity. Celebrity chef Ajay Chopra, widely recognized for his role in MasterChef India, expanded the dialogue by emphasizing the critical intersections of food tourism and sustainability, noting that the systematic transfer of culinary expertise to the next generation is the fundamental requirement for industry longevity.

Organized by the University Institute of Films and Visual Arts (UIFVA), this year’s edition showcases an expansive selection of over 383 films, including 11 international entries from nations such as Spain, the United Kingdom, Australia, and India. The festival serves as a high-octane platform for cultural exchange and global collaboration, bridging the critical gap between academic theory and the rapidly evolving film industry while highlighting emerging trends in animation, VFX, and AI-driven filmmaking.

The inaugural ceremony featured Subrata Roy, Founder and Managing Director of Hi-Tech Animation Studio, as the chief guest, alongside guests of honor Veerendra K Patil, Founder and Creative Director of Zebu Animation, and Shyam Deshpande, Art Director at Krafton India. Also present were Prof (Dr) Raviraja N Sitharam, Vice Chancellor of Chandigarh University, and Prof (Dr) VR Raghuveer, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academics), joined by a distinguished cohort of dignitaries from the global film, animation, and gaming fraternity. Chief guest Subrata Roy emphasized the unavoidable integration of Artificial Intelligence, urging students to go beyond conventional syllabi and master technology as a servant rather than becoming its slave. Roy delivered a stark reminder that art must generate economic value to be sustainable, advising creators to focus on sellable content rather than passion alone.

Reinforcing the theme of evolution, Veerendra K Patil noted that just as digital media once faced skepticism regarding emotional depth, AI is now the next step in creative evolution. He challenged the next generation to embrace AI as a fundamental tool, asserting that mastery of fundamentals like lighting and design remains essential for communicating effectively with machines. Patil further shared a philosophy of "life balance," describing animation not merely as work but as a vital part of storytelling life. Complementing this perspective, Shyam Deshpande spoke on the collaborative nature of art, noting that while personal intuition is vital, artists must adapt to audience expectations and industrial demands. Deshpande argued that every artistic decision, from texture to contrast, must be backed by clear intent to avoid being reduced to surface-level aesthetics.

Prof (Dr) Raviraja N Sitharam highlighted Chandigarh University’s commitment to experiential learning, noting that in an era of 20 to 30-second attention spans, storytelling requires both creative flair and scientific precision. The festival’s diverse lineup includes short films, documentaries, 2D and 3D animation, VFX films, showreels, AI-driven films, and advertisements. These works are being evaluated by an esteemed jury including Prof (Dr) Sebastian Pagueguy of Universidad de Chile, Sachitha Kalingamudali of Mogo Studios, Bollywood actor and director Rohit Tiwari, Syed Nadeem Akhtar of Digitoonz, and immersive technology veteran Krupasagar Sridharan. On the concluding day, the festival will recognize outstanding excellence in categories ranging from Best Short Film and Best VFX to Video Advertising Excellence. This international initiative by the Animation Department of Chandigarh University—a NAAC A+ and QS World Ranked institution—secures its position as a premier hub for media education and global industry integration.

In the sun-drenched landscape of India, where relentless ultraviolet radiation meets a non-negotiable demand for personal style, a transformative force named ollo is disrupting the traditional eyewear market. Founded by visionary young entrepreneur Arjun Phoolka, the Mumbai-based brand is executing a rigorous mission to deliver the highest quality eyewear, utilizing the finest materials and jeweler-grade hardware at price points that remain accessible to a population of 1.4 billion people. By merging premium aerospace-grade titanium, high-grade acetate, and innovative design with luxury branding, ollo effectively eliminates the choice between overpriced imports and flimsy knockoffs, making high-end, limited-production frames a reality for everyone.

The technical composition of ollo’s collection establishes a new industry benchmark, prioritizing longevity over the fleeting allure of logos that often cause consumers to frequently replace inferior frames. Core frames are meticulously crafted from high-grade acetate, selected for its lightweight flexibility and full recyclability, while the broader range incorporates premium metal alloys for sleek strength and pure, hypoallergenic titanium for ultra-durable performance. These materials are not basic iterations; the titanium is aerospace-grade for featherlight resilience, and the metals feature polished finishes designed to age gracefully over time. Every pair is integrated with jeweler-grade hardware, including precision hinges, flexible titanium arms, and adjustable pads, ensuring that the frames serve as heirloom-quality investments guaranteed to last a lifetime.

Functionality remains a cornerstone of the brand's philosophy, as ollo’s signature texture and engraving provide essential grip and comfort that adapts seamlessly to various facial structures. The frames are engineered to be light and balanced, ensuring sustained comfort during extended wear. This dedication to quality is coupled with a vital health mandate regarding the necessity of sunglasses in safeguarding vision from the daily silent erosion of ultraviolet radiation. Without 100% UV protection, harmful UVA and UVB rays penetrate the cornea, lens, and retina, accelerating the onset of cataracts and macular degeneration, which are leading causes of irreversible blindness. By acting as an unbreakable filter, ollo frames prevent photokeratitis—a painful corneal sunburn—and the growth of pterygium on the eye surface, while also reducing the risk of skin cancer in the delicate orbital area.

The brand's aesthetic impact is already being felt across luxury settings, from a woman owning the moment in Ombra sterling shades seated inside a Rolls Royce to a man in The Olive frames sharing a calm, sun-soaked moment at the stables. Beyond health, eyewear has evolved into a cornerstone of fashion, reflected in Jack Nicholson’s famous assertion that his sunglasses define his identity, and Karl Lagerfeld’s comparison of shades to eye shadow that makes everything appear younger and prettier. Helen Keller also underscored this necessity, advising to keep one's face toward the sun so shadows fall behind, though ollo notes this must be done with sunglasses on.

Founder Arjun Phoolka emphasizes that ollo provides an unmatched consumer experience, including high-quality packaging and branding that even competitors in similar price brackets fail to offer. With options starting from 2,000 INR and reaching up to 6,000 INR, the brand provides free shipping on all orders, bridging a critical gap in the Indian market. By blending high-end materials and lifetime durability with accessible pricing, ollo stands as a smart investment for the modern consumer, proving that true luxury does not require compromise and that vision protection is a mandatory daily practice akin to using sunscreen.
