Prime Minister Narendra Modi embarks on a major diplomatic visit to France and Slovakia from June 13 to 18, focusing on economic cooperation, advanced technology partnerships, and Global South priorities. The tour includes participation in the G7 Summit, VivaTech Paris, and the launch of Bharat Innovates 2026 in Nice, showcasing India's innovation ecosystem to global investors.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to undertake a significant diplomatic visit to France and Slovakia from June 13 to June 18, following invitations from French President Emmanuel Macron and Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico. The visit is aimed at strengthening economic cooperation, advancing technology partnerships, and amplifying the priorities of the Global South on key international platforms.

In France, Modi’s engagements in Nice will see the launch of “Bharat Innovates 2026,” a major showcase featuring Indian startups operating in artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and space technology, designed to attract global investors and deepen innovation-driven collaboration between India and international partners.

During the same visit, the Prime Minister will participate in the G7 Summit held in Évian-les-Bains, where global economic stability, security concerns, and development priorities are expected to dominate discussions. He will also attend VivaTech in Paris, further reinforcing India’s commitment to emerging technologies and global digital transformation.

The visit will extend to Slovakia, marking the first trip by an Indian Prime Minister to the country since 1993. In Slovakia, Modi is scheduled to meet senior political leaders and prominent business figures, with discussions expected to focus on strengthening defense cooperation and expanding bilateral trade relations amid a period of warming diplomatic ties.
