Several stocks witnessed an exceptional surge in trading volumes on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on June 9, 2026, indicating heightened investor activity during the morning trading session. Among the major gainers in volume terms, EID Parry (India) Ltd emerged as the standout performer, recording a substantial increase in traded shares compared with its recent average.

EID Parry (India) Ltd registered a trading volume of 9.05 lakh shares by 10:46 IST on the BSE, representing a 36.65-fold jump over its two-week average daily volume of 24,695 shares. The stock advanced 0.95 percent to Rs 728.80. In comparison, the company had recorded volumes of 21,976 shares during the previous trading session.

AAVAS Financiers Ltd also witnessed significant trading interest. The company recorded a volume of 3.86 lakh shares by 10:46 IST, marking a 20.48-times increase over its two-week average daily volume of 18,825 shares. Despite the sharp rise in trading activity, the stock slipped 0.13 percent to Rs 1,258.60. Volumes in the previous session stood at 42,710 shares.

Cera Sanitaryware Ltd posted a notable rise in trading volumes as 6,271 shares changed hands by 10:46 IST. The figure represented a 9.2-fold increase compared with its two-week average daily volume of 682 shares. The stock gained 5.47 percent to trade at Rs 5,785.00. The company had recorded a volume of 1,107 shares in the previous session.

Bajaj Finserv Ltd also attracted strong investor participation. The stock clocked a volume of 3.06 lakh shares by 10:46 IST, registering a 6.75-times surge over its two-week average daily volume of 45,325 shares. Shares of the financial services company rose 1.41 percent to Rs 1,694.40. The previous session had witnessed volumes of 15,229 shares.

Honasa Consumer Ltd recorded trading volume of 15.46 lakh shares by 10:46 IST, reflecting a 5.8-times increase over its two-week average daily volume of 2.67 lakh shares. The stock, however, declined 0.33 percent to Rs 413.95. In the preceding trading session, the company had recorded volume of 1.15 lakh shares.
