India Condemns Pakistan at United Nations Over “Organised Factory of Hate” and Cross-Border Violence
India strongly criticised Pakistan at the United Nations Security Council, accusing it of running an organised factory of hate and spreading state-sponsored disinformation. Ambassador Parvathaneni Harish condemned Pakistan’s military dominance, cross-border strikes, and civilian casualties in Afghanistan, calling out attempts to deflect blame onto India.
India’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Parvathaneni Harish, stated that Pakistan has been exploiting religious language and propaganda mechanisms to shape a permanent atmosphere of enmity among its citizens against India. He asserted that Islamabad’s narrative strategy is aimed at deflecting attention from its internal governance challenges and shifting responsibility onto New Delhi.
Ambassador Harish further criticised Pakistan’s political structure, highlighting the dominant role of the military in national governance. He pointed to recent constitutional amendments as evidence of an expanding military influence over civilian institutions, describing it as a clear indicator of institutional imbalance within Pakistan’s administrative framework.
India also rejected Pakistan’s designation of militant outfits operating within its own territory as “Fitna al Hindustan,” a term translated as “Sedition of India,” calling it an example of state-sponsored disinformation and rhetorical manipulation.
Addressing cross-border security concerns, India condemned Pakistan’s military operations across international boundaries and held Islamabad accountable for significant civilian casualties reported in Afghanistan due to aerial strikes. Ambassador Harish reiterated that attempts to disguise mass violence as legitimate military operations cannot absolve responsibility. He stated that Pakistan has a long-standing pattern of attributing its internal failures and security challenges to neighbouring countries.
The remarks underscored India’s firm position at the United Nations, reinforcing its accusations of systematic misinformation, governance imbalance, and external blame-shifting by Pakistan in regional and international forums.
