Waste To Art: More Than 650 Sculptures From 400 Tonnes Of Scrap
Built at a cost of approximately Rs 25 crore, the park is a testament to sustainable art. Artists have transformed around 400 tonnes of scrap metal—including old iron rods, electrical wires, poles, and other waste material that had been lying unused in Noida for years—into magnificent sculptures.
- The park features over 650 sculptures of animals and birds.
- Structures include elephants, lions, giraffes, penguins, sharks, and cobras, all crafted entirely from scrap.
Six Zones Of The Jungle Trail
The park is divided into six distinct zones, each featuring life-sized sculptures of animals native to specific continents:
Asia Zone: Tiger, elephant, rhino, panda.
Africa Zone: Lions, giraffes, zebras, a pack of cheetahs.
Australia Zone: Kangaroo, koala, platypus.
Europe Zone: Giant sculptures of bears, deer, owls.
North And South America Zone: Grizzly bear, jaguar, condor.
Aqua Zone: Whales, sharks, octopuses and other marine life.
Night Safari And Miyawaki Forest
The park offers a unique experience that blends art with nature.
Miyawaki Forest: Over 350,000 native plants have been planted using the Miyawaki technique, developing into a dense forest in just one year. Walking through the trail offers the experience of a real jungle safari.
Light and Sound: The park is equipped with a light and sound system that plays the roars and calls of wild animals, creating a "night safari" atmosphere. The sculptures are illuminated at night, enhancing their beauty.
Visitor Information And Facilities
The Jungle Trail is situated near the Botanical Garden and the Okhla Bird Sanctuary.
Timings: Open daily from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm.
Tickets: A dedicated counter is available; payments can be made via cash or online.
E-Cart Service: Visitors can tour the extensive area using e-carts for a fee. notably, this service is free for those in need.
Amenities: The park includes a food court with kiosks, a dedicated children's play area, toilets, an open-air amphitheatre for events, and ample parking space.
